About the tour

Why walk Novi Sad this way

A leisurely 2-hour loop through the baroque heart of Novi Sad. You'll circle Freedom Square, walk the pedestrian Zmaj Jovina to the Bishop's Palace, wander down Novi Sad's oldest street to the Danube Park and pass Matica srpska on the way back. All of it is flat, mostly car-free and mostly on cobbles or old brick pavement. Bring a camera and space for one long coffee stop.

"Perfect intro to the city. Two hours was exactly right — we did the whole loop without rushing and still had time for coffee at Zmaj Jovina."

"Loved the Danube Park stop — we would have walked past it otherwise. The Matica srpska detour is worth doing even if the gallery is closed."

"Great flow. Would love a few more restaurant tips along the way but the walk itself is spot-on."
